NASA 2016

I get to see Atlantis on display.

Not the real thing, just a fiberglass model.

But it is to scale. It's BIG!

After a 12 minute movie, the doors opened to reveal this. Total shock!

One memory I will never forget.

I'm flying the Shuttle!

A small Cube Sat, about the size of a shoe box.

The Canada Arm.

                                                               A great time indeed.

My First Rocket Launch at NASA.

My vantage point about 6.3 miles away from the launch site.

Launch sites 41 and 39A

The VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building)

New vantage point 4.3 miles away from the launch site.

The beach the day before the launch.

You can see the oxygen vapor coming off the rocket on the right side.

The water tower and the Assembly Building for the OSIRIS-REx.

The new launch site for the SLS (Space Launch System) Pad 39B

Pad 39A It still has the Shuttle launch tower. It now is owned by Space X.

You can see the damage to Space X other site, sorta.

Launch of OSIRIS-REx on its mission to the asteroid Bennu.

The Launch!!!!

About 3 minutes later.

4.3 miles away form the launch site. WOW!!!!!!!
